If you've attended our phenomenal Camps in Buckhead, then you already know that our programs are all about exciting STEM learning experiences and helping bright young minds attain essential 21st Century Skills.

We've always wanted to dive even deeper into Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. And what better place than Georgia Tech, where campers will be inspired by a place where innovation is born!

We hope to see you this Summer at Georgia Tech.

Daily Camp Schedule

For Summer 2024

9:00-9:30 Drop-Off, Transition Staff will be welcoming your student at a designated collection area at the parking lot side of the John Lewis Student Center.
9:30-10:15 STEM Activities

Students will engage in Themed STEM Activities.

10:15-10:30 Snack Break

Power Up

10:30-12:00 STEM Activities

Students will engage in Themed STEM Activities.

12:00-12:45 Lunch Break w/ Recess We will take Lunch in the Cafeteria of the John Lewis Student Center which provides a number of comprehensive dining options. Alternatively, you may provide your student with a meal for lunch. Please provide your student with lunch money (i.e. $20/day), as lunch is not included this year.
12:45-2:15 STEM Activities

Students will engage in Themed STEM Activities.

2:15-2:45 Cleanup, Transition Students will Cleanup, collect their materials, and will be escorted to the entrance for Carpool.
2:45-3:00 Carpool Pickup Carpool pickup will begin at 2:45 at the main entrance of the John Lewis Student Center. Once you arrive your child will be escorted to your vehicle.

Q: Who is managing these camps?
A: STEM Velocity Camps offered at Georgia Tech are provided by and managed by STEM Velocity, a Division of Learning Ridge, LLC. These programs are held at the John Lewis Student Center on the Georgia Tech Campus, and are not endorsed by or affiliated with Georgia Tech.
Q: How old does my student need to be?
A: We currently only offer programs for Rising 2nd Grade (Age 7+) at our Georgia Tech Location. If your student is younger, please refer to our other exciting camp locations in the Atlanta area.
Q: How is carpool pickup handled?

A: Carpool pickup is provided from 2:45pm-3:00pm at the main entrance of the John Lewis Student Center. Once you arrive your child will be escorted to your vehicle.

Please arrive no sooner than 2:45 to avoid disruption around the parking lot. We would like to encourage parents to park their vehicle when arriving early and to collect their camper in person at the curb between 2:45 and 3:00 if possible.

Pickups that occur after 3:00pm will result in a $40/hour Late Pickup Fee per student

Q: Are parents allowed access the facility?
A: John Lewis Student Center is open to the public. If you need to pick up your student early, please inform us ahead of time.
Q: How many instructors are assigned to your camps?
A: We follow ACA (American Camp Association) Guidelines for Student Teacher Ratios. Our Student:Teacher Ratios are typically between 10:1 and 8:1.
