Virginia Highlands

This is not your ordinary STEM Program, because we are bringing creativity to STEM (not the other way around). During STE(A)M Craft, we will dive deep into our creative, curious, and experimental nature using quality STEM resources. Throughout the program, students will be given unique engineering challenges built around fascinating STEM topics such as chaos theory, compliant mechanisms, chain reactions, and more. Our goal is to not just learn STEM, but to create memorable ‘a-ha’ experiences that will preoccupy our scientific minds and inspire new ways of understanding the world.

Crash! Pop! Eureka! Does your Student enjoy science coming to life? Then this is the program for them! Each week we will explore something new and exciting from a wide range of age-appropriate STEM topics in the areas of engineering, physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, and more. We will conduct experiments and activities to provide first hand experiences to help them become more confident in their understanding of the natural world. New Topics covered each week throughout the school year.
